During the holiday season, we told you about the growing number of online consumers from mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. In the months of November and December, online retailers saw roughly a 53% increase of mobile shoppers making purchases from their devices.
For the consumers that used their devices to make purchases, how did the mobile websites and purchasing experience stack up?
Analytics Firm, ForeSee, has ranked the top websites mobile shoppers used during the holiday season. The firm surveyed 6,200 mobile consumers between the months of November and December of 2012. Their rankings were based on a 100 point scale. Amazon came out on top with 85 points, QVC and Apple tied for second at 83 points, and Costco in ninth place with 78 points.

Overall, consumer satisfaction and the mobile shopping experience have improved from the previous year.
Whether it’s the holidays or not, M-Commerce is advancing and is projected to make up over 9% of online sales by 2017. Online consumers are becoming increasingly happy that they can now make purchases from their smartphone or tablet.
