4 Android Devices just in time for Holiday Shopping

It’s only mid-October, but already there are plenty of options to choose from when deciding on a new end-of-the-year smartphone. These would make some pretty great stocking stuffers!

The HTC One X+

Some would say the HTC One X is the closest challenger to the Samsung Galaxy S III.This is HTC’s flagship smartphone and comes packed with features every mobile user desires: a powerful processor, extra storage, and a bigger, longer lasting battery.

Haven’t even heard of the HTC One yet? Blame a lack of marketing on HTC’s part- this phone is worth taking a look at! You might just be surprised…

The Motorola Droid Razr HD & Razr HD Maxx

Although recent upgrades, or rather lack thereof, from Motorola have been disappointing to say the least, the fact that Google now owns the company is a breath of fresh air to Razr users. The new line of Razr’s have been very successful, and the lastest editions almost promise an increase in their user base. These are two of the slimmest phones with the longest battery lives around and definitely worth considering this year.

The Samsung Galaxy Note II

If you can’t decide between a tablet and smartphone, just get the Galaxy Note II!

Kidding…sort of. The Galaxy Note II has by far the largest screen of any new smartphone and comes with the “S Pen” (a.k.a. stylus) for easy tapping and selecting. It will be longer than the original Note and slightly heavier as well. The processor is upgraded and the camera offers a burst of 20 shots and time-lapse videos. There isn’t a release date for the U.S. yet, but we’re betting it will be out before shopping season this December.

The LG Optimus G

This device is being promoted in a big way with announcement events being held in Berlin, South Korea, and New York City. With a 4.7-in screen and a 13-megapixel camera, it’s easy to see why. The front facing camera is also leading the industry with 1.3-megapixels, and the design is a sleek, textured black. There are also rumors that the Optimus G could be made into a pure Google phone and sold as a Nexus device later this year. Either way, it’s going to be one to keep your eye on.
